Marc St-Pierre

Hi! My name is Marc. I grew up in Navan, Ontario when it was still considered rural and when I was a little boy I loved heavy equipment and trucks. I always dreamed of driving them!

Instead of playing sports, I would go knock on my neighbors’ doors to ask if I could use their tractors to mow their lawns or remove the snow. When I was 16 years old, I got my driver’s license and with my own money, I paid for the training to get my AZ driver’s license at the age of 18.

Over the years, I worked for different types of companies and drove different kinds of trucks and all kinds of heavy equipment. In 2007, I bought a pickup truck with a plow and salter on it, and I finally made my dream of running my own company come true!

The following year, I met my wife Mel and we started our family very quickly so my priorities changed and I put the idea of running my own company on the back burner for a little while we raised our two daughters, Eva and Melodie, and adopted our 3 rescue dogs.

Last year I met my business partner, and one thing led to another, and Country Digging was born. My dream of owning my own heavy equipment company was finally a reality!

In operation since 2022, we are all-in to serve the communities surrounding Clarence-Rockland.
